spinewire Don't settle for pale memories or fake implants. Experience space travel the old-fashioned way on a real album collection made specially by Wolfgang. Here I am celebrating 20 years of wonderful space travel - all I can do is say THANK YOU. Favorite track: the jupiter project - passage.

JeffA FANFREAKINTASTIC!!! My first foray into Dark Ambient over a decade ago at MP3.com. Then he disappeared.... The only thing I had left of this utterly fantastic sonic journey were a few low quality mp3's I cobbled together from napster and elsewhere. Didn't even have them in the right order it turns out. But now I've found Pulsar Bleu on bandcamp and was finally able to pay this artist his due and get ahold of a quality FLAC download. Give this a listen and I think you'll agree...out Favorite track: the jupiter project - darken.

about

Man studies the desert of space.
Birth pangs and the death throes of stars,
and the massive violence in every galaxy.

He listens to the heartbeats of pulsars,
to the unquenchable hunger of black holes,
from the swarming crowds of stars in the center of galaxies
to the empty void between them.

Man still hoped to detect an energy,
whose pulse could not be born in any star
and feel sure that it was there,
somewhere in the darkness and racing towards them.

Spreading across the galaxy like ripples in a lake,
like the first light of a brave new star.

Someday this wave will find earth and man.
It would ring in his radio-telescopes with an order so clear and delicate
that man would be sure it had risen not from the heart of any star.

Then man would know beyond any doubt,
that somewhere else in the universe the dance of life had started and triumphed.

And called across the void between the stars
for someone
to share its wonder.
